Member Breakfast: June 30, 2008
You and a guest are invited to attend a Filene Member Breakfast on Monday, June 30, 2008, from 7:30 to 8:45 a.m. The breakfast will be held at the Hilton New York in the Gibson Suite. Please join us as we enjoy a presentation from Filene Fellow, Robert Manning. This event is being held in conjunction with the 2008 America's Credit Union Conference. Please register to attend.
2008 Fall i3 Meeting (joint with Research Council)
The Fall i3 meeting is scheduled in conjunction with Filene's Research Council Meeting at the Governor Hotel in Portland, Oregon. Filene i3 members should plan to arrive on Tuesday, October 29th and depart Friday, October 3rd.
Please call the Governor Hotel directly at 503-224-3400 by August 27th to make your reservations, and mention you are in the Filene block. Room rates are $189 for a standard and $209 for a junior suite.

2008 Communication and Learning in Credit Unions Symposium, October 15-17, 2008, Austin, TX (Invitation Only)
The Communication and Learning in Credit Unions Symposium will allow project participants to gather and analyze data, share ideas and observations, and learn from each other. The symposium will begin with dinner on Wednesday, October 15th and end at noon on Friday, October 17th. Researchers James Detert, Cornell University, Ethan Burris, University of Texas at Austin and David Harrison, Penn State University will lead particpants through this two-day symposium at the AT&T Executive Education and Conference Center at the University of Texas. Filene will cover dining and meeting expenses for up to three people from each credit union. We will also be able to cover lodging expenses for one individual. We will reserve your hotel room (rate of $159 per night) based on your registration. Individuals not covered by Filene will be asked for a credit card upon registration.
