Rob is a passionate servant-leader who thrives on finding innovative ways to solve problems. Having led technology teams for more than 25 years, he is currently the Chief Information Officer at Vantage West Credit Union. As the CIO, he has ultimate accountability for Technology, Application Development, Decision Intelligence, Information Security, and the Project Management Office. He is known as a collaborative leader and enjoys working across the credit union to improve the lives of Members and staff alike.
Rob’s background in technology leadership spans several verticals including municipal government; cognitive psychology, large-scale visualization, and medical imaging research at the university level; healthcare; and facilities management. He has excelled at developing and implementing transformative technologies in each of these arenas. He joined the Credit Union movement in 2018, bringing with him a unique viewpoint based on the variety of his experience and has enjoyed applying those lessons to contribute to the success of Credit Unions.
Rob and his wife of ten years, Melissa, have two children: Audrey (7) and Conrad (3). Outside of work, he holds a Commercial Pilot license, enjoys golfing, high-performance driving, and travel. He earned an MBA and a BS in Information Technology Services from Mississippi State University.
