Theran Colwell, SVP of Enterprise Strategy – Theran reports to Shruti Miyashiro. He joined DCU in June 2023 and is responsible for the enterprise strategy, project management office, business process management, data/analytics, and the financial services CUSOs. Prior to joining DCU, Theran held extensive positions throughout TruStage including vice president corporate strategy, vice president business experience, vice president product management, director risk management, director corporate development and strategy, senior manager product finance, senior consultant financial management services.
As a strategic thought leader and innovator, Theran has worked with key industry constituents both domestically and internationally on financial institution strategy, mergers and acquisitions, competitive intelligence, voice of customer, data, analytics, risk management, regulation, product development, asset liability management, alternative capital, loan/deposit pricing and investment accounting.
Theran holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance, Investments, and Banking and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
