Bill currently serves as the Chief Operations Officer for TAPCO Credit Union. Prior to his tenure at TAPCO, he served in a variety of roles in the industry – Regional VP for Global CU, as VP of Corporate Development at True North FCU (Juneau, AK) and as COO for Icon Credit Union in Boise, ID.
Successes include refreshing credit union brands, establishing new lending departments for Real Estate and Business Lending, as well as managing all areas of Operations, Branches, Lending, Marketing and Community Outreach at TAPCO.
After 50 years in Alaska, Bill, and his wife Lisa, accomplished their life goal of relocating to the lower 48. Originally landing in Boise, ID, they found their way to the PNW and reside in University Place, WA.
As a strong community advocate, Bill has also served on several local area non-profit boards (Rotary, Chamber, United Way, etc.) and is currently President of his local Rotary Club, President of the Westside Chapter of Tacoma Pierce County Chamber and is an appointed member of the City of University Place’s Planning Commission. Bill’s passions include reading, music, hiking, and traveling. Fun (and tie-dye) rate high on his priority list.
