Horacio Garcia-Korosec

Senior Incubation Manager at Filene Research Institute

As a member of the Filene team, Horacio will be supporting the execution of our Incubator pipeline, working in close collaboration with the Incubation team, key industry partners, and cross-functional teams within Filene. In this role, Horacio will be leveraging 15 years of credit union experience and expertise in innovation and business intelligence to help incubate, launch and scale innovative solutions that benefit the credit union industry and its members.

Over the course of his career, Horacio has worked in various roles at Del-One Federal Credit Union, from front-line positions to member advocacy, innovation, and business intelligence. He is particularly proud of his work on community projects, such as establishing a student branch program with local high schools and developing a prize-linked savings program. Additionally, Horacio has been involved in several system conversions, built out a business intelligence strategy as an umbrella over member experience and innovation, and completed the Stanford CUES Strategic Innovation program in 2021, obtaining CIE status.

Horacio also completed the CUES Strategic Marketing program in 2018, obtaining CSME status and was selected as a Crasher at GAC in 2019. He was honored to be a finalist for the Miriam Rivera Lieb Emerging Leader Award. Outside of work, Horacio has obtained a bachelor's degree in accounting & finance from Wilmington University and enjoys all things fitness and health, video games and reading. Fun fact, he loves to scare people! Horacio is excited to bring his passion and experience to Filene's Incubator team and support the credit union industry's journey towards innovation and growth.
