Hear the Latest Innovations from Filene i3

Each year, the best and brightest credit union executives from the U.S. and Canada gather to solve consumer finance problems as a part of the renowned Filene i3 program. During this event, Filene will highlight the latest innovations from i3 that aim to improve consumer welfare and ensure the sustainability of the credit union movement.

Special guest Jacob H. Smith will present his latest research findings on organizational behavior, and his key areas of interest include motivation, leadership, social exchange, and organizational culture and climate. Jacob is going into his third year as a PhD student and research assistant at Louisiana State University with the Rucks Department of Management.

We will also be joined by Mark Klinedinst, Emeritus Professor of Economics at the University of Southern Mississippi, who will present highlights from his recently published Filene research Katrina 10 Years After: Lessons from Credit Unions and Banks. This work explores various performance results in the aftermath of the storms and offers lessons to similar institutions that may face catastrophic events.

Breakfast will be served from 8:00 am to 9:00 am.
