In the return-to-office environment, organizations will be reevaluating their workplace space requirements. Our research outlines implications for credit unions wanting to enhance workplace designs that will likely foster employee satisfaction and attraction.

  • Use modular workspaces that foster collaboration and group problem solving.
  • Provide a variety of workspaces that remote working environments typically lack (e.g., spaces for large group and client meetings, small group collaborations, etc.).
  • Use employee surveys to help identify trends within your organization. 
  • Reduce assigned workspaces, and instead utilize unassigned, single-user workspaces that are flexible and configurable for two to four people when needed.
