Jenny Armistead joins the Filene team as our new Marketing Director. With over 16 years of marketing experience and an intricate understanding of the credit union business model, Jenny Armistead is keenly aware of the challenges that credit unions currently face. Leveraging her proficiency in digital marketing strategy, she aims to implement data-driven B2B marketing strategies that not only reach credit union leaders but engage them effectively with Filene’s innovative solutions. Jenny’s mission as marketing director is to drive growth and awareness for Filene, thereby assisting our member credit unions to achieve their objectives.
Her impressive experience includes a 2-year stint as a Strategic Advisor at Raddon, where she successfully nurtured relationships and provided strategic support to 60+ credit union clients nationally, with assets ranging from $100M to over $4B. She also spent seven years as the Director of Marketing and Communications for the Michigan Dental Association, where she significantly enhanced engagement between member dentists and the association, while simultaneously increasing public awareness about the importance of oral health. Another key chapter in her career was her 7-year tenure as the Marketing Manager for E&A Credit Union (now Advia Credit Union), during which she utilized data to fuel growth and profitability for the institution.
Jenny is a proud graduate of Central Michigan University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. A firm believer in the power of continued education, she recently acquired dual certification in digital marketing strategy from the Digital Marketing Institute and the American Marketing Association and completed the CUNA Board Financial Literacy (FLC) certification program. Outside of her professional commitments, she loves spending time at the beach, exploring theme parks, and enjoying life with her husband, Jason, in sunny Tampa, FL.
